Statement of Faith
We believe that the GOD of the Bible is the one true GOD (Is. 44:6 , 45:21) , the creator of heaven and earth (Gen. 1:1), perfect in all ways (Ps. 18:30, Mt. 5:48). God is awesome (Rom. 5: 6-8) and we love him.:-)
We believe in the Trinity: GOD the Father , Jesus Christ the Son , and the Holy Spirit, who comprise the Godhead and are one God (Jn. 1: 1-3).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and Son of GOD (Mt. 16: 15-17), who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary (Lk.1: 31-35), who lived as a human yet was fully divine (Jn.1:14), and who was chucified, died, was buried (Jn.19), and rose again on the third day (Jn.20). We admit that we are sinners before GOD , unable to attain salvation by our own works. We belive that Christ died for our sins (and those of the world), and we have accepted him as Lord and Savior.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God (2 Tim.3:16).
We belive that people must belive in Christ to be saved (Jn.3:16-18, 14-16) and that baptism is an important symbol but not a requirement for Salvation.
